There’s no froth in the economic impact of craft beer.
Small and independent craft brewers contributed $55.7 billion and more than 424,000 jobs to the U.S. economy in 2014, says the Brewers Association, an industry trade group.
A craft brewer has limited production, is independent and makes beer with traditional ingredients mixed with nontraditional elements for distinctiveness, the association says.
