After Sept. 12, 2011, the only accounts which will be eligible for PNC Points are the Performance Select Checking account, the Performance Checking account and the Virtual Wallet Performance account.

Bonus points:

  • 3,000: Use the following PNC Bank cards for the first time after enrollment or linking: PNC Bank Check Card, Business Check Card, PNC points Visa, PNC points Business Visa or PNC Flex credit cards.
  • 3,000: Add direct deposit to a PNC Bank checking account for the first time.
  • 3,000: Pay a bill for the first time with PNC Bank Online Bill Pay.
  • 1,000: Elect to receive checking account statements electronically (paperless statements).

Bankrate.com surveyed the largest banks and thrifts in the top five markets in the country plus the top five credit unions to find out what debit card rewards programs are available and how they work. The survey was taken from Aug. 22 to Sept. 9, 2011.
