I’m Sheyna Steiner with the Bankrate.com personal finance minute.
It’s not a big secret but saving regularly and consistently is the basis for wealth. According to Forbes if investors are disciplined and invest regularly, even using index funds, they will do very nicely.
Investors should also avoid the biggest mistake: letting emotions get the best of them. Avoid changing your strategy due to giddiness at the top or despondency at the bottom and you have a good chance of retiring wealthy.
As he advocated in his two bids for the Republican nomination for president, Forbes stands behind the idea of a flat tax. He says that a low, flat tax rate would free up citizens to do more with their money and get rid of the 10 million words of gibberish currently called the tax code.
