Lisa has more than 15 years of experience combining search (SEO) and social, allowing them to work together to bring the most traffic, reach and engagement to a website. Creating and promoting content that informs the user has been her focus since 1997. She has consulted with PBS/Annenberg Media, Laurel Tech, Taishan Sports, 1928 Jewelry, Howard Johnson hotels, McGraw Hill and Wyndham Hotel Group, as well as mentored and encouraged young adults into building their own online businesses.
With experience in both the educational and business fields, Lisa’s natural approach is to teach. Training internal teams about how content is a driving force to rank organically in Google is one of her many tasks. Creating content strategies and promotion plans with her team is a continuous process as its always evolving. She has experience marketing, promoting and branding corporate clients both online and offline, and uses this background of organic SEO techniques and content promotion to brand and get exposure for Bankrate.
An early adopter of social media, Lisa now brings her experience to Bankrate. Having earned a B.A. in English Writing and her Master of Arts in Teaching from William Paterson University, she continues to learn by attending industry conferences and workshops.
