Who is Janet Yellen?
Janet Yellen is chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Since taking office in February 2014 when she succeeded Ben Bernanke, Yellen has tackled issues such as overseeing big banks, determining when to raise the federal funds rate and controlling inflation.
