How to book a stay with the Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection
The first step to booking a stay in the Chase Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection is making sure you have an eligible Chase credit card. At that point, you have full access to all the properties in the collection and their various benefits, and you can make a booking as soon as your credit card arrives in the mail.
Once you’re ready, follow these steps to make a luxurious hotel reservation you’ll never forget.
Step 1: Search for properties in the portal
Head to the official website for the Chase Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection and begin searching for properties in your destination over your preferred dates.
Step 2: Click on the card type you have
Once you begin your search, Chase will ask you to select your eligible card type and log in to your online account. If you don’t have an eligible Chase credit card yet, you’ll be given the opportunity to apply.
Step 3: Select a hotel stay and proceed with the booking process
Once you log in, you can browse available properties and offers for your dates. At this point, you can choose a property and begin your booking. Note that it’s possible not all charges will be listed as you compare properties and pricing, and that some charges (like resort fees) need to be paid at eligible properties when you check in.
Step 4: Enter your contact details
Once you begin your booking, you’ll be asked to add your traveler information and contact details.
Step 5: Enter payment information with your eligible Chase credit card
Finally, you’ll enter your address and payment information for the booking and use your eligible Chase credit card to pay. Be aware that you’ll need to enter your full credit card details, including the three-digit code on the back of the card and the expiration date, for the purchase to go through.
The bottom line
The Chase Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection can be worth exploring if you have the right travel credit card, are traveling for a special occasion and want elite perks. However, you’ll still want to compare pricing as if you were booking directly to see if the extra perks you get are even worth it. For example, you could always price out the cost of the property you want booked directly with a room upgrade included, the cost of breakfast and the added property credits you get built-in.
That said, you could also just reward yourself and book a VIP stay as a treat. At the end of the day, it’s fun to splurge sometimes and that’s what the Chase Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection helps you do. The portal may not be ideal for longer stays or family trips, but it’s a great way to flex your rewards muscles for romantic getaways, anniversary trips and other special occasions.
