The average one-year CD yield is 0.31 percent for the fourth consecutive week. The average five-year yield lost 2 basis points to 1.06 percent. A basis point is one-hundredth of 1 percentage point.
For deposits of $100,000, the average one-year jumbo CD yield is unchanged at 0.33 percent. The five-year jumbo yield dropped 2 basis points to 1.07 percent.
The average money market account yield is unchanged at 0.12 percent.
