  • 1.15% (5-year CD yields)

For the most part, rates on certificates of deposit did not move in this week's rate survey.

The average one-year CD is the exception; the yield is down 1 basis point to 0.34 percent. The average five-year CD yield is 1.15 percent for the second week.

A basis point is one-hundredth of 1 percentage point.

For jumbo CDs, the average one-year yield remains 0.37 percent. The five-year jumbo CD yield is 1.18 percent.

The average money market account yield is 0.13 percent for the 10th week.
