In the most recent survey, CD rates bounced back slightly from last week's dip.

The average yield on a one-year certificate of deposit, or CD, is 0.34 percent for the seventh week. Regaining the basis point lost last week, the average five-year yield is back to 1.16 percent. A basis point is one-hundredth of 1 percentage point.

For deposits of $100,000, the average one-year jumbo CD yield is up 1 basis point to 0.37 percent. The yield on a five-year jumbo CD picked up 1 basis point to 1.18 percent.

For the seventh straight week, the average money market account yield is 0.13 percent.
