Here's a look at the state of CD rates from Bankrate.com's weekly national survey of large banks and thrifts conducted Nov. 23, 2010.
This week marks the first time since July that CD rates did not go down.
The average one-year CD yield is unchanged from last week at 0.51 percent. The five-year CD yield gained 1 basis point to 1.52 percent.
For jumbo CDs, the one-year CD yield is also unchanged from last week at 0.56 percent and the jumbo five-year CD yield remains 1.53 percent.
For the 12th week in a row, the average money market account yield is 0.19 percent.
