Here's a look at the state of CD rates from Bankrate.com's weekly national survey of large banks and thrifts conducted June 30, 2010.
CD rates slipped again in this week's rate roundup.
The average one-year CD yield is down 1 basis point to 0.69 percent. The average five-year CD yield fell 2 basis points to 2 percent.
On the jumbo end, the average one-year CD lost 1 basis point to 0.73 percent, while the average five-year CD is down 2 basis points to 1.99 percent.
The good news is that money market yields lost nothing this week, staying at 0.21 percent.
