If you're baffled about the new state health care exchanges being created as part of health insurance reform, you're far from alone. Nearly half of more than 1,200 people surveyed this spring said they've heard "nothing at all" about their state's plans for an exchange, the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation found. A survey done for InsuranceQuotes.com, a Bankrate-owned website, found 90 percent of Americans don't know when they'll be able to shop for health insurance using the exchanges.
