SPECIAL REPORT
Building your company's team

Assembling your team

Going it alone may be the best way to ensure everything in your company is done your way, but whether your company consists of one employee -- you -- or a hundred, you need to have a team of professionals around you to offer advice and support.

You'll need at least a banker, lawyer, accountant and insurance agent, plus an informal board of directors -- people who don't rely on you for a check but can give you levelheaded advice or a boot in the rear when you need it.

This week, SmallBiz Finance gives you some pointers on how to choose wisely the important elements of your team.
