I had an amazing experience with my consumer Direct Mortgage Banker Bill and Mary on my refinance. I had been upside down on my mortgage for years, not eligible for HARP and basically stuck with a 5.5% Interest rate. I ultimately found Consumer Direct and Bill, but before going through 3 other brokers, all of whom claimed a terrific rate at no cost, only to be flabbergasted by the added fees and resulting high rate. I just signed paperwork on my re-fi and I could not be happier. My costs were what expected and even lower than projected in some cases (a person at the title company even commented that they had never seen such high fidelity in the original estimates). I sincerely appreciate the professionalism and responsiveness during my refinance process and the show of genuine concern to ensure I got the best possible deal. more

The total process from date of application to closing took just under one month. The appraisal was ordered and completed during the first week. Most documents were signed electronically. Just a few needed actual signatures, which eliminated needing to print and fax/email/download to portal. They made the process as simple as possible. Any questions we had were answered via phone calls/email. Our realtor and attorney was so impressed with the level of service, they sad they would recommend Consumer Direct to their clients. more
