Here's a look at the state of home equity rates from Bankrate.com's weekly national survey of large banks and thrifts conducted Feb. 2, 2011.

Loans based on home equity saw no movement in the latest week.

A standard home equity loan was unchanged at 7.14 percent, according to Bankrate's latest national survey.

Meanwhile, a typical home equity line of credit, or HELOC, was also unmoved, remaining at the 5.56 percent level of a week earlier.
