RV financing deals by the numbers
 There are a number of places where people can go to finance a recreational vehicle. To land the best financing deal, you'll need to do some shopping around. This chart can help.
In this special Bankrate.com survey, we examine RV financing deals available from large banks across the country. We asked each lender to give us the best interest rates available for a $40,000, 15-year loan on a new and used RV. Rates on new-RV loans range from 8.74 percent to 15.75 percent. Rates on used-RV loans range from 9.49 percent to 16.25 percent. The survey also lists a range of rates and financing terms available from each RV lender. Financing terms range from one to 15 years. Most lenders require a 10-percent down payment for a new RV and a 20-percent down payment for a used RV.
