MPG: 17 city/25 highway
Honda Odyssey
| Consistently ranked as the top minivan in numerous studies, the Honda Odyssey also has class-leading fuel economy. The 244-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 gets an EPA-estimated 17 city/25 highway mpg when equipped with Honda's Variable Cylinder Management, or VCM, technology, which shuts down two or three cylinders when not needed, such as during steady cruising on the highway. The same engine, minus the VCM technology, gets an estimated 16 city/23 highway mpg. Odyssey's rear passengers ride in supreme comfort with second-row captain's chairs that adjust 10 inches fore and aft and can be slid together to create a bench seat, while the 60/40 split-folding third row disappears into the floor without removing the headrests. << Back to comparison | |
