Chevrolet Traverse
Introduced as a 2009 model, the Chevrolet Traverse is the corporate sibling to the Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia. It received a Top Safety Pick designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, which rated it "good," its highest rating, in front, side and rear impacts. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave it five stars in all its front and side impact tests and a rollover rating of four stars. Standard safety features include front and side-impact airbags for front seat occupants, side-curtain airbags that protect all three rows, anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control.
