| The Acura MDX is ranked high by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, who gave it five stars in all of its front and side impact tests and a rollover rating of four stars. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety lauded the seven-seater as a Top Safety Pick, rating it "good," its highest ranking, in front, side and rear impact tests. Standard safety features include dual-stage front airbags and side-impact airbags for front seat passengers, side curtain airbags that provide coverage for all three rows of occupants as well as stay inflated during a rollover, active front head restraints, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability and traction control. << Back to comparison | |
