390 horsepower, 5.0-liter V-8
Infiniti FX50
| Introduced in 2003, Infiniti's FX was an early entry on the crossover scene and caught buyers' attention with its unusual, sleek styling. Redesigned for 2009, the FX's sleek styling remains, but its top-of-the-line model has become even more high performance. Powered by a 390-horsepower, 5.0-liter V-8, the FX50 comes with standard all-wheel-drive and a seven-speed automatic transmission. For those who prefer the experience of shifting while they drive, steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters are available. Safety features, including upgraded anti-lock brakes, traction and stability control, active head restraints, as well as side-impact and side curtain airbags, offer security should the high-performance driving get out of hand. Also available is the high-tech Lane Departure Prevention and Distance Control Assist, which both help keep the vehicle in its lane and a safe distance from other cars. << Back to comparison | |
