This year, Mitsubishi Lancer adds an all-new hatchback to its lineup. Available in GTS and Railliart trim levels, the Lancer Sportback shares front-end styling with the Lancer Sedan, but move to the back and it's an entirely different story. Its rear liftgate is raked forward at an aggressive angle and is accented by a rear spoiler near the roofline. Inside, the Sportback can comfortably accommodate five people. And with the second-row seats folded, it offers 52.7 cubic feet of cargo room. The Lancer Sportback is available with a premium Rockford Fosgate audio system, advanced navigation system and Recaro leather sport seats. Power in the front-wheel-drive GTS model is supplied by a 168-horsepower, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. The all-wheel-drive Raillart's 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder boosts output all the way up to 237 horsepower. Standard safety features include seven airbags and anti-whiplash front head restraints.
