The Beyblades are spinning tops tied to the
self-titled cartoon show. And apparently they are cool.
Four year-old Charles Brenner was enthralled
when he discovered the Beyblade Remote Control Top at FAO
Schwarz. His mother wondered about the toy's safety around
Brenner's 1-year-old sister. Brenner was so eager to have
the toy, he was willing to compromise.
"If I see her, I'll move her out of the
way," he said.
The price range for this toy is sizeable --
about $15 from least- to most-expensive -- so it might be
worth it to shop around. However, availability may be a problem.
"They're in and out of here so fast it's hard to keep
track of," says Terence Greenberg a sales supervisor
of FAO Schwarz in West Palm Beach, Fla.
