"They can probably sell a million more
than they will be able to get out," says Jim Silver,
co-publisher of Toy Wishes magazine. "Come Dec. 1, lots
of luck getting this."
Silver says a production delay kept the
Leapfrog company from getting as many Leapsters made as will
be in demand. This toy is 100 percent learning and so much
fun that it will appeal to children older than the recommended
age, predicts Silver. "You'll have to pry it out of a
10-year-old's hands just like they had to pry it out of mine!"
The Leapster has a touch-activated screen
with lots of games that have increasing levels of difficulty.
