The “V” in Cadillac’s line-up represents the high-performance version of its models and the CTS-V is an entry-level luxury car with some serious get up and go. Powered by a 556-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8, the CTS-V was redesigned for 2009. The rear-wheel-drive sedan features a six-speed manual or a six-speed auto-manual transmission plus steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The CTS-V also gets an upgraded suspension called Magnetic Ride Control, which automatically adjusts to match the driving conditions. Styling differences include larger wheels and lower body panels as well as a sportier interior with Recaro race-inspired seats. Go »

The Lexus LS 600h is a hybrid designed with performance in mind, instead of fuel economy. With a six-figure starting price, the 600h is an ultra-luxury hybrid that combines an electric motor with a 5.0-liter V-8 to achieve over 430 horsepower, while getting an EPA-estimated 20 city/22 highway mpg. Except for the hybrid badging, the 600h shares the exterior styling of its gasoline-only counterpart, the LS 460. On the inside, it also has all of the 460’s standard features including a sunroof, power everything, voice-activated navigation and 19-speaker audio system. Go »

The A6/S6 received a mild redesign for 2009, so no further changes are planned for the 2010 model year.
