While considered a subcompact, the Aveo sedan is actually slightly longer and wider than its competition and features flexible seating to help accommodate a variety of passenger and cargo needs. The front passenger seat folds flat and the 60/40-split rear seat also folds. For 2010, the Chevrolet Aveo’s engine gets two more horsepower, bringing the 1.6-liter engine to 108 horsepower total. The standard transmission is a five-speed manual, while a four-speed automatic is optional. Standard features on all models include power steering, MP3 input jack and side-impact airbags for front seat occupants. Available features include leather-like upholstery, XM Satellite Radio and anti-lock brakes.
