As Florida students prepare to head back to school, the Sunshine State is giving shoppers a break on sales taxes for certain items. See below for 2015 Florida tax holiday dates, tax-exempt items and notable rules and exceptions. Limits shown reflect cost per item.

Tax-exemption items and price limits
  • School supplies: $15 or less
  • Clothing, footwear and accessories: $100 or less
  • Personal computers and certain related accessories: the first $750 of the cost per item
Notable holiday rules, exceptionsItems sold at theme parks or other entertainment complexes, hotels and airports are still taxed.
