Credit card rates didn't move this week, according to Bankrate's latest survey of interest rates. The average annual percentage rate, or APR, for variable-rate credit cards stayed steady at 14.46 percent. The fixed APR remained at 13.81 percent, where it has stood since the first week of March.
The Consumer Finance Protection Bureau on Tuesday released its database of credit card complaints, which dates back to the beginning of June 2012. Updated daily, the database lists each complaint, the issue, the credit card issuer and response time, among other features. The identity of the complainant isn't disclosed. The agency's goal is to increase transparency and efficiency and to further empower U.S. consumers.
