Evan
Eggers, president, SureCruise.com
Independent cruise guru Evan Eggers
loved cruising so much, he started
the SureCruise.com
Cruise Superstore in 2000, and
today the company is in the top
3 percent of cruise sellers. Evan
contributes new ideas as one of
only 25 experts invited to sit
on the cruise industry's national
advisory board, and his passion
for cruising is
featured
in newspapers, magazines, radio,
TV and on the Web. When Evan
isn't inspecting and reporting
on the latest and greatest cruise
ships, he's cooking up innovative
ways to help prospective cruisers
easily find their perfect cruise
online.
He bases his star rankings on
how well a cruise line measures
up against the expectations
its marketing messages promise.
After all, he says, "General-purpose
star ratings can't take into
account an individual's likes
and dislikes, as our new Cruise
Wizard does."
