5 new technologies for the connected car

Faster wireless connections
Faster wireless connections

The 2015 Audi A3 sedan will arrive next spring and will be faster than ever -- electronically, that is. The A3 will come equipped with 4G LTE capability (referring to fourth-generation wireless standards), allowing smoother renderings of Google Earth and Google Street View in Audi's navigation plus system, while an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hot spot can be created to provide faster downloads and high-definition streaming for up to eight devices.

In the future, Audi plans to use the high-speed wireless data connection to provide access to other services, including communications with parking garages to find open spaces as well as with other connected cars.
