Tax-exemption items and price limits Clothing and footwear: $100 or less
Notable holiday rules, exceptions Mail, email, telephone and Internet sales are tax-free as long as the items are ordered and paid for and are available for immediate shipment during the sales tax holiday period, even if the purchases arrive after the holiday ends.
