It’s shaping up to be a strong year for job seekers. Research firm ManpowerGroup says a strong first-quarter U.S. job market will be followed by a “relatively stable” second quarter as more than 1 in 5 employers plan to expand their workforces.
ManpowerGroup’s survey of 18,000 employers found that 22 percent expect to boost hiring from April to June while 4 percent expect to cut staff levels. The majority, 72 percent, expect to keep their firms’ staffing levels steady.
The first- and second-quarter outlooks both point to an expanded level of hiring in 2015 compared with the same periods last year.
Here’s where you might find the best hiring prospects.
