Discover is ending its Discover Deals program on October 31, 2018. Cardholders received an announcement indicating that Discover is “retiring the program to focus on simpler and more meaningful ways to earn and redeem rewards.”
The Discover Deals program allows Discover cardholders to save money on purchases with major retailers such as Sam’s Club, Macy’s, and Best Buy. Cardholders can log into their account to view available deals. Each offer comes with a unique code that can be used at checkout to redeem the deal.
If you are a Discover cardholder, any previously earned or outstanding Discover Deals rewards will still post to your account. You can continue to participate in the Discover Deals program until October 31, so take advantage of these rewards while they are available.
Cardholders with the Discover it® Cash Back card will still be able to enroll every quarter to earn 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in purchases made in various categories throughout the year; and 1% on everything else.. Discover it® Miles cardholders can still earn travel rewards through the Discover it® Miles program.
