| In
case you haven't heard yet, the tweezers prohibition is long over.
The Transportation Security Administration
(TSA) allows air travelers to pack personal toiletry items such as tweezers, nail
files, nail clippers and disposable razors in carry-on bags. But
expect your CD player, laptop, camera, cell phone and car remote control get scrutinized
by airport security. The Homeland Security Department recently issued a new advisory
that terrorists may try to conceal weapons or bombs in electronic devices. The
TSA worker will ask you to remove all electronics from your pockets or bags and
put them through the X-ray machines at security checkpoints. It is recommended
that you carry all undeveloped film in carry-on bags, as the checked baggage screening
equipment will damage or destroy undeveloped film. They also
suggest that you keep your checked bags unlocked. If your suitcase is locked and
must be opened for further screening, the locks will be broken and TSA is not
liable for damage caused. For
