New car's value in the future

Dear
Terry,
How much will a used 2007 Tahoe be worth in about three years?
-- Jake
Dear
Jake, Well, it all depends on the optional equipment, mileage and condition.
But consider this: If you were to lease a 2007 Tahoe through GMAC, the residual
value after three years would be calculated at about 57 to 60 percent of the full
MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price), including options. While there's
no guarantee that your Tahoe would sell for that much in three years, it's a good
guideline.
