2009 Credit Card Study results

Bankrate.com surveyed two cards -- a rewards card and a platinum card -- from 10 of the top credit card issuers. We focused on the fees and practices, such as when the issuer can raise interest rates, so that consumers can judge which card offers the best terms and conditions for them.

The survey was conducted in May by Bankrate market analyst Brooks Kelly.

For an analysis of the results, read "What's in the fine print?"

To see how the recently passed Credit CARD Act of 2009 will affect these terms and conditions, read "New card law will impact terms."
