Will rates rise or remain relatively unchanged? Experts and Bankrate analysts predict where mortgage rates are headed over the next week.

This week (Sept.15-21), 18 percent of the panelists believe mortgage rates will rise over the next week or so; 27 percent think rates will fall; and 55 percent believe rates will remain relatively unchanged (plus or minus 2 basis points).
