New for '09
 Nissan GT-R
Nissan GT-R   For a long time, the top-of-the-line sports car in the Nissan stable was the Z. But real fans of high performance vehicles craved a Nissan that wasn't available in the United States, the Skyline sport coupe. Fans of the Skyline now get the latest version of Nissan's really hot car, the GT-R. Bigger than the Z -- it's a true 2+2 coupe -- the GT-R is performance personified, designed to do battle with the likes of the Porsche Turbo. It has a 473-horsepower twin-turbo V-6, an all-wheel drive chassis, and enough electronic driver aids to make almost anyone look like a Formula One winner. Although it's priced at about $70,000, it's a performance bargain when compared to its rivals. Just don't expect to buy one this year at anywhere near sticker price, since dealers are charging premiums.
