What's hot?
New for '09
 Honda Fit
Honda Fit   Although Honda has been selling the compact Fit seemingly everywhere in the world except the United States since 2001, the model arrived in U.S. showrooms just last year. Now we're getting the newest version for 2009, and buyers will notice new styling that takes some of the corners off the Fit's boxiness, a larger wheelbase that translates into more interior room and a more powerful 118 horsepower, 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Five-speed manual or automatic transmissions are available, the latter with a paddle-shift mode. Honda promises that the ride and handling of the new Fit will be an improvement. Expect prices to rise slightly from the 2008 base of about $14,000, while fuel economy will certainly be in the 27 mpg city, 34 mpg highway range.
