Cut your air conditioning bill
In comparing my monthly summer air conditioning bills with my neighbor, I realized my electrical bill was significantly higher than theirs. I had central air and they used 2 window units. I decided to purchase 2 units an shut my central air off. I bought the units on sale for about $350. I cut my electricity bill down in half. From at least $150 minimum a month to $60-80 per month. I will have recaptured the cost of my investment in the first year. Additionally, I save more money by not having to replace filters in my furnace-cost savings of about $50 or the cost of 2 filters I would have replaced over the summer. I am delighted!
