Video: World's most expensive cars

While the rich surely don't worry about $4 a gallon gas like the rest of us, the fallout from the credit crisis is having a stifling effect on luxury car sales. Sales of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bugattis and Bentleys are reported to have slowed around the world, although spikes have been noted for slightly less ostentatious models, including Maseratis, Mercedes and BMWs.

Even many of the superrich have decided, apparently, to take a wait-and-see approach on restocking their garages. But once the desire for an exotic sports car or luxury sedan gets too much to resist, they'll find a growing array of incredible cars at uber prices waiting for them.

Here's video of some of the world's most expensive cars:
Bugatti Veyron Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
Koenigsegg CCX/CCXR Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
Pagani Zonda Ferrari 430 Scuderia
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG
Maybach 62 S Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG
Rolls-Royce Phantom Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG
Maybach 62 S Watch video

Though founded in 1909, Maybach was revived as a brand in the early 2000s, when the first Maybach 57 and Maybach 62 models were produced. The car numbers are equal to the lengths of the automobiles in decimeters. The longer 62, or just over 20 feet, allows rear occupants to recline fully in their seats. Since most Maybach owners are chauffeured, such back seat comfort is critical. Each Maybach 62 is built to order and comes with adjustable twin back seats split by a center console, DVD and CD entertainment options and a refrigerated compartment.

Price: $426,000
Style: Four-door sedan
Engine: 6.0-liter, twin turbo-charged V-12; 604 horsepower
Performance: 0 to 60 in about 5 seconds
