Video: World's most expensive cars

While the rich surely don't worry about $4 a gallon gas like the rest of us, the fallout from the credit crisis is having a stifling effect on luxury car sales. Sales of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bugattis and Bentleys are reported to have slowed around the world, although spikes have been noted for slightly less ostentatious models, including Maseratis, Mercedes and BMWs.

Even many of the superrich have decided, apparently, to take a wait-and-see approach on restocking their garages. But once the desire for an exotic sports car or luxury sedan gets too much to resist, they'll find a growing array of incredible cars at uber prices waiting for them.

Here's video of some of the world's most expensive cars:
Bugatti Veyron Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
Koenigsegg CCX/CCXR Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
Pagani Zonda Ferrari 430 Scuderia
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG
Maybach 62 S Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG
Rolls-Royce Phantom Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG

Looking for an environmentally friendly supercar? Check out the Koenigsegg CCXR. OK, maybe this isn't the car of choice for Al Gore and his eco-buddies, but the Koenigsegg CCXR does run on E85 bioethanol, a blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline. In fact, it was the tweaking of the Koenigsegg's engine to handle E85's 104-octane rating that gives the Swedish-made auto its power. When it runs on 98-octane unleaded gas, the fuel of choice for the CCX edition, the Koenigsegg's engine puts out only 876 horsepower. The price of such a high-performance supercar is equally impressive.

Price: CCX -- $545,568; CCXR -- $2.4 million
Style: Two-door coupe
Engine: V-8, 1,000 horsepower
Performance: 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds
