Best known for her TV roles on "Cheers" and "Veronica's Closet," Kirstie has made a big name for herself with a recent "Jenny Craig" ad campaign and her loss of 75 pounds. Not many know that the actress is a staunch environmentalist and has led a very eco-friendly lifestyle for many years. "We use no chemicals in our house and clean with baking soda and water or chemical-free detergents. We also recycle aluminum, paper, glass ... all that at home. What I to to do is use jars a lot. Anything we buy in glass, I do what our mothers did which is keep the lids and jars to put leftovers in instead of plastic containers. When I grocery shop, I bring along my own canvas bags -- sometimes 15. And I try and get off of junk mail lists by writing to the company and also refusing the mail. That really saves paper. I also limit the use of air conditioning so that our ozone layer is helped out."
