Paying $750 to get my car fixed, after 18 months of it not being fixed and my other car breaking down over 200 miles away. I couldn't afford to loose my job, so I had to fork out my last $500 to encourage the guy to fix it.

In college (I had no job) I somehow managed to get approved for credit cards, needless to say that was a HUGE mistake.
