The horror-film home is for sale for $2.1 million.
The Los Angeles home from the 1984 movie "A Nightmare on Elm Street," featuring the unforgettable teen-terrorizer Freddy Krueger, is up for sale for $2.1 million, touted as a "reasonable" price for the area by Rodeo Realty.
The three-bedroom, two-story home is in the Spaulding Square neighborhood of Hollywood and has undergone a complete renovation under the current owner, who bought it in 2006. "It was horrible," the owner, Angie Hill, told AOL Real Estate. She said the home looked "beaten up" when she purchased it, with peeling paint, cracked concrete and a pool that had turned black.
Every inch of the interior was gutted and redone and features a master suite with a spa, a chef's kitchen, walnut floors, arched doorways and landscaped gardens.
