If your object of adoration this Valentine's Day is square, solidly built and makes you feel protected, you're not alone. A survey by Realtor.com found that 63 percent of respondents have what they call a "home crush."

Do you have a valentine crush on a home?
The behavior of those who confess to such a crush is about what you'd expect -- daydreaming about a future together and endlessly checking out the object of their affection online or in person.
Most of those who say they have a home crush don't believe it will remain unrequited: 64 percent say the home of their dreams is within their price range. They also want the opinions of others, with 70 percent saying they'll consult a home inspector and 40 percent seeking the approval of friends and family before making an offer.
But, as with any crush, there are deal-breakers. For the respondents of the survey, the key attribute is location, with 77 percent saying it is non-negotiable. More than half, 54 percent, say the home's appearance is of the utmost importance and 56 percent cited the number of bathrooms and bedrooms.
