Want to move into a haunted mansion just in time for Halloween? For less than $1 million, you can.
A live-in replica of Disney's Haunted Mansion attraction is listed for sale in Duluth, Ga. for $873,000. The 10,000-square-foot spooky house has four stories and seven bedrooms. The ghosts are not included in the deal -- except for the animated hitchhiking ghost scene in one of the home's six bathrooms.
The owner, Mark Hurt, is a designer and Disney contractor. He built the replica in 1996 in a gated community and lived there for 16 years with his wife and son. The replica matches the exact architecture and every detail of one of Disney's most popular attractions.
"He actually measured the real Disney mansion to make sure it was exact," says Mark Pianko of Theme Park Connection, a Florida company that specializes in Disney collectibles. "He went through a lot of great details to make sure it was authentic." Theme Park partnered with the owner to market the home.
The house features a "Haunted Mansion" plaque at the front gate, a two-story library, an elevator and a surprise for guests as they enter the first-floor bathroom.
"When they start washing their hands, the lights start to flicker and a ghost appears in the mirror," Pianko says. "Mark says he would forget to tell guests about the bathroom and then he would hear screams and say, 'Oh, forgot to tell them.'"
Hurt says he is selling the house because he is working on his next project, a resort-themed house modeled after Disney's Grand Californian.
The Haunted Mansion has received 45 bids on its eBay listing, which expires Nov. 1. The offers have not met the seller's asking price yet.

This is a joke and a ridiculous "article" I use that term loosely)...the pictures are clearly NOT those of anything even remotely resembling the Disney Haunted Mansion. The description is that this "replica" actually LOOKS like the Disney attraction. Whether they mean the one in California or in Florida, the photos are obviously not the actual house...unless either the seller or the writer of the article are lying.
This is an absolute joke.
This is some expensive dollhouse! Not the home picture either as what SKRAETE stated!
If you want to sell a doll house, sell it on ebay but don't try to fool the consumer with photos that are not realistic! Ebay is dumb enough to take just about anything so they can make a buck off of it.

The house shown is a garden model play house-look at the shingles tells everything."
That comment here should say it all!
I think that thisis so cool! I have always loved the Disney Haunted House.I wished that I could live in a place like that-let alone afford it!! LOL ! This is really awesome !
The house shown is a garden model play house-look at the shingles tells everything.
The picture looks like a doll house model- If you look at scale the shingles look scissor cut. This is not a mansion-at best a cottage. I don't know of any manufacturer that offers 3'-4' wide roofing shingles, do you? Bad Article! Do research or at least proofread your work.
Hey Polyana da Costa, Pointless article and incorrect photos to accompany the text. They don't pay you as a writer do they?
not the home pictured. That is a view from the roof of the mansion looking at another home or guest house
that is so cool. I wish I could live in that
I'm assuming the picture is of some other house, because that in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM looks like any of the Disneyland haunted mansions.
At the bottom of the Ebay listing it sayes "People who bought this item also bought" I guess Ebay thinks it's big enough that it can lie about anything
