Dad may be coveting a hot new sports car or a luxury sedan for Father's Day, but practicality means dads across the U.S. are behind the wheel of much more common cars. It's probably a good thing, too, since these cars mean a much lower monthly payment on a car loan and lower car insurance rates.
Automotive information site TrueCar.com analyzed data from men with children to determine the 10 Most Popular Cars for Dads. Unlike most lists that highlight the cars dad would like to drive, this list looked at what dad actually does drive.
Honda had four cars on the top 10 list. The three best-selling large pickups -- the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-150 and Ram 1500 Pickup -- were the only domestic vehicles in the top 10.

I'm shocked the Camaro didn't make the list! It's the best & pretiest car I've ever owned & I have owned almost 20.
This list is sad. I think I fell asleep after number three. I'm with Steve. Life is too short to buy a driving implement. I'll stick to my 2008 BMW 550i. Dean has a point, too. If you can afford an F-150 or Ram you can get a much cooler SUV or something.
That list sucks. i drive a 2008 M3.....and can't imagine having to drive anything other than a BMW of some sort...
Is a Volvo just too far out of the league for anyone to imagine ?
SUV Wagon Sedan trucks you name it
Beats the rest on all categories
