Looking to send a letter to Santa, but aren't sure it will get there in time? One way to ensure it arrives is a car road trip to the Arctic Circle. That's what automaker Mini did recently, when it delivered the biggest Christmas wish list in the world to Santa Claus.
The list, which contained 75,954 wishes from children and adults in 16 countries, was delivered to the Santa Claus Main Post Office in Rovaniemi, Finland. With the delivery, Mini set a mark recognized by the Guinness World Records for the world's longest wish list. The city of Rovaniemi is the official hometown of Santa Claus.
The journey to the Arctic Circle by the fleet of eight Mini cars took 11 days, beginning Nov. 24 at BMW headquarters in Munich, and ending in Rovaniemi Dec. 5.
