Consumers on double-dip recession

[START VIDEO]

Person 1: I'm not entirely confident about it. But it's prepare. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Person 2: I'm a little bit more optimistic. I'm graduating soon, so that's a little bit of, like, a downside because then I have to get into the working world. So I'm nervous about that because it's really hard right now. But I think it's getting a little bit better, like, people are realizing they can spend money.

Person 3: I think attitudes are pessimistic. I think the economy, though, is going to grind slowly higher. I don't think we're going to double dip into another recession.

Person 4: I definitely feel like it's better. Just hearing from people I know, they seem to be in better situations financially. People are getting better jobs that I'm personally involved with, people I speak to on a daily basis. There's more opportunities out there for people right now, I feel like. And it's definitely a good thing, so I'm optimistic.

Person 5: Is anybody really more prepared? We can just hope for the best.
