It doesn't seem to matter that the Emmy Award-winning smash "Lost" has been off the air since 2010. Tours near Honolulu that concentrate on places where the drama was filmed remain big, says Ed Kos, owner of Kos Tours Inc.
"About 75 percent of the people taking our tours are 'Lost' fans," says Kos, who offers two-hour, five-hour and even eight-hour tours. Those are for the hard-core fans, known as Lostaways or Losties. They often know "everything" about the show, he says.
What you see: The two-hour tour stops at 22 locations from "Lost." The five-hour tour -- the most popular, Kos says -- visits 35 sites. The eight-hour tour encompasses 42 locales from the TV show, including several set buildings on private property.
Most popular stop: The valley where the character Hurley set up a small golf course
Tour frequency: Monday-Saturday
Cost (per adult): $79 to $209, depending on tour length
